Royal Steppers to Compete at Cadence Dance Competition

Founded in Spring 2005, by five determined young ladies, the Royal Steppers brought vitality and the art of stepping to St. Joseph’s College community. Under the watchful eyes of their beloved coaches, Malitza Velasquez and Diana Pierre, the Royal Steppers gracefully transitioned from a club to part of the athletics department.

Bringing original sounds, precise movement to every performance, and making you anxious for the next beat, this team guarantees you true entertainment.

The Royal Steppers perform at various events including all Bears and Lady Bears home games. The team has competed in various Step Shows and won their first competition at the Battle of Beats Step Off at St. Joseph’s College’s Patchogue campus.
